Anthony Joshua Vs Alexander Povetkin
This Saturday September 22nd heavyweight boxing giants Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin will box what’s being called “the fight of the year” at Wembley Stadium – Joshua and Povetkin are estimated to enter the ring around 10:30pm.
Excitement has been building amongst boxing fans running alongside a powerful media campaign ramping up the hype for the fight which takes place in London. There is a strong divide among boxing fanatics – some saying this is an “easy fight for Joshua” others argue it’ll be a high intensity fight lasting many rounds.
It is no secret that Joshua is under immense pressure with the Povetkin fight. The pressure from his previous wins, fans and the media makes the Povetkin fight a test of not just physical but also mental strength. Joshua’s long and intensive training programme leading up to the fight will fare him well if he is able to compose himself in the ring. He has been quoted in the paper saying he is “frustrated” and ready to make Povetkin pay.
The pressure is on since the fiasco of turning down the fight with Deontay Wilder. But did Joshua have his eyes on the prize?
Although the divide is fairly 50/50 amongst boxing enthusiasts we are sure it’s going to be a tough one. The Anthony Joshua and Alex Povetkin fight has been popular with The Black Lion followers customers, many planning to flood in on September 22nd to watch the fight at Chapel Street.
